In post covid scenario, recenlty sudden cardiac deaths are increased in youth. Keeping this in mind, as a initiative of Government of Gujarat,Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists(ISA)today at Nootan Medical College and Research Centre constituent college of Sankalchand Patel University has organised COLS (Compression Only Life Support) training programme for police department of Gujarat. Dr. Bharat Shah, Medical Director and faculties from Department of Anaesthesia were trainers for COLS training.It is good initiative to train police worker for emergency CPR training. Shri. Prakashbhai Patel,President of Sankalchand Patel University, Mr.Achal Tyagi SP Mahesana, Ms.Vishakha Dabral Commander,SRP have given motivating speech.Mr.D.S.Chauhan DySP Visnagar, Mr.R.I.Desai DySP Mahesana, Mr.J.J.Shekh DySP Head Quarter Mahesana, Mr.S.N.Ninama PI Visnagar and all the PIs, PSI and 910 police personnel of Mahesana District were present in programme.Dr.Anil Patel, Prabhari BJP Doctor Cell, Mahesana has also grace the programme with his presence.This programme was organised under the guidance and support of Dr.Himanshu Joshi,Dean, NMCRC and staff of medical College. Shri Prakashbhai Patel, President Sankalchand Patel University has provided all support and guidance for successful arrangement of this programme.
