Nootan Medical College & Research Centre, Visnagar, successfully organized the Inter-Collegiate Clinical Skill Workshop, an academic initiative aimed at enhancing essential clinical competencies among undergraduate medical students.
The workshop focused on hands-on training in Basic Life Support (BLS), Airway Management, and Suturing Skills, providing participants with valuable practical exposure to core clinical procedures. Students from multiple medical colleges actively participated, making the event a meaningful platform for inter-collegiate academic collaboration.
The inaugural session was graced by esteemed faculty members including Dr. Nikhil Patel (Assistant Dean, NMCRC), Dr. Rajesh Shah (Professor & Head, Department of Surgery), Dr. Pravin C. Patel (Professor, Department of Anaesthesia) whose guidance and encouragement greatly contributed to the success of the workshop. The lecture on Basic Life Support was taken by Dr. Prakash Makwana from the Department of Anaesthesia.
The event was efficiently coordinated by a dedicated student organizing team, led by Naisarg Thakkar, with the support of Utsav Solanki, Shivnath Thakkar, Sharad Solanki, Om Patel, Dhanashree Rathod, Shivangi Mendpara, Rahul Prajapati and Abhiveersingh Chhabada under the mentorship and approval of the institute.
NMCRC continues to encourage such student-led academic initiatives that promote hands-on learning, leadership, and clinical excellence.
