A Simulation Workshop on Obstetric Anesthesia and Airway Management was successfully organized by the Department of Anesthesiology at Nootan Medical College and Research Centre.
The workshop was enriched by the expert guidance of distinguished resource persons, including Dr Heena Chhanwal, Medical Superintendent & Professor of Anesthesia at GCS Medical College,
Dr Rekha Solanki, Associate Professor at Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute,
Dr Tarun Vaghela, Consultant Anesthetist, Navsari, and
Dr Bharat Shah, Ex-Dean & Professor of BJ Medical College.
Topics were
1) PIH and PULMONARY EDEMA
2) PPH
3) AIRWAY MANAGEMENT
The workshop provided hands-on simulation training and valuable clinical insights, enhancing participants’ skills in managing critical obstetric anesthesia scenarios and airway emergencies. Such academic initiatives play a vital role in strengthening clinical competence and ensuring safer patient care.
More than 35 Doctors had participated from Mehsana ;Visnagar; Vadnagar and Patan Medical College and private practitioners.
I Dr Nikul Prajapati Prof. anaesthesia dept And Dr Bhavna Shah in association with ISA Mehsana Branch had successfully conducted this workshop as Faculty member and Organising committee .
