The MD in Anaesthesiology at Sankalchand Patel University aims to train medical graduates in the field of perioperative medicine, pain management, and critical care. This program provides a strong foundation in clinical anaesthesia, intensive care, and emergency medicine, equipping students with the necessary skills to manage patients in surgical and critical care settings.

General Eligibility Criteria for MD & MS Programs:
Academic Qualification: Must have an MBBS degree from a recognized medical college/university.
Internship: Completion of a one-year compulsory rotating internship before admission.
Entrance Exam: Must qualify for NEET-PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Postgraduate).
Medical Council Registration: Permanent or provisional registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) / Medical Council of India (MCI) / State Medical Council is required.
