Enhancing Lab Excellence through Soft Skills & Best Practices 
The Department of Microbiology, Nootan Medical College & Research Centre, Sankalchand Patel University (SPU), Visnagar, successfully organized a 2-day workshop on “Pre-Analytical Principles and Best Practices: An Ideation of Promoting Soft Skills” on 29th & 30th July 2025. 
The workshop aimed to strengthen participants’ understanding and practical application of pre-analytical best practices, focusing on phlebotomy techniques, infection control, biomedical waste management, and patient interaction—essential pillars of accurate diagnostics and patient safety.

A total of 134 participants, including doctors, lab technicians, and nursing staff from Nootan Medical College and Nootan General Hospital, enthusiastically took part. The workshop emphasized soft skills, safety protocols, and holistic professional growth in healthcare settings.
