Continuing Medical Education (CME) Programme on HPV Vaccination: Awareness and Action Against Carcinoma Cervix
A Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme on “HPV Vaccination: Awareness and Action Against Carcinoma Cervix” was organized on 2nd July 2026 at our institution. The programme aimed to enhance awareness regarding the burden of cervical cancer, the role of Human Papillomavirus (HPV) in its causation, and the importance of HPV vaccination as an effective preventive strategy.
The CME highlighted current recommendations on HPV vaccination, strategies for improving vaccine acceptance, and the need for timely screening and preventive action against carcinoma cervix. Faculty members, clinicians, postgraduate students, and interns actively participated in the academic deliberations, making the programme a meaningful step towards promoting women’s health and cancer prevention.
