The Community Medicine Department at Nootan Medical College and Research Centre focuses on public health and preventive medicine. It covers topics like epidemiology, biostatistics, Communicable & Non Communicable Diseases, Maternal & Child Health, Occupational Health, Health education, and Community Health Programs. The department is also involved in research projects related to public health issues. Department is providing outreach and community health services through Rural Health Training Centre (RHTC) and Urban Health Training Centre (UHTC).

Department have well-equipped laboratories, computer facilities, museum and access to community health centers and field practice areas to support our teaching and research activities.
